NOT Jewish - but Protestant / Lutheran searching back 500 years
This question has been ask of me many times, and I thought I would clarify this.
On September 12, 1690 Johann Adam Diehl was born in Unden Cappeln, Germany. He married Maria Catherina Krescher on Dec 4, 1712
On April 1, 1751 John Adam Simon recieved a warrant for 200 acres, and then 59 more acres called the "Addition" on Dec 12, 1752
In 1760 this land was sold and Johann Adam Simon moved to Franklin Co, PA. Then in 1776 he moved to Bethlehem Township, Washington Co, PA
In Bethlehem Township he took out a land warrant for 343-3/4 acres named Dispair. The land was pattened on Mar 28, 1788
Johann Adam Simon married (Maria Elizabeth Diehl) the daughter of John Adam and Maria Catherina Diehl in 1740 in Lancaster Co, PA Maria Elizabeth (Diehl) Simon was born April 4, 1715 in Homberg, Germany.
There son Michael was born Jan 25, 1742, he married Anna Ottillia Schmeltzer
in York, PA. She was born on Feb 2, 1741 and and immigrated to America on the ship Royal Union in 1750
Michael recieved a tract of land in Bethlehem Township in 1787 called Blackberry. During the Revolution Michael was a Frontier Ranger under Captain Abner Howell. This was in the 3rd Battalion, Washington, Co
Johann Adam Simon born 1716 immigrated to America with his brother Johann Jacob on the Charming Nancy" on Nov 9, 1738
In the year 1788 Johann Adam Simon died interstate in Bethlehem Township, Washington Co. Maria Elizabeth died on Feb 12, 1806
They are buried in the Dutch Glory Lutheran Cementary, Washington Co Pa

The day following the death of John Adam Simon, Michael and his wife Anna Ottilla conveyed to the trustees of the German Lutheran Congration two and one quarter acres of land. This was for the sole purpose of a place for Devine Worship & Teaching, also for a Burial Ground
